A Salmon Creek chiropractic office had a COVID-19 exposure last week that might have spread coronavirus to more than 300 people, according to Clark County Public Health.
Last week, an employee at Chiro One Wellness Center Salmon Creek, 13800 N.E. 20th Ave., worked while potentially contagious with the virus and might have exposed the virus to 300 patients who visited the office over the last four days of last week.
Another 14 people, who work at the chiropractor’s office, were also potentially exposed to the virus.
Patients who visited the Salmon Creek location on Sept. 8, Sept. 9, Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 are at risk of contracting COVID-19, and should quarantine. Patients who visited the Salmon Creek office on other days, or visited other Chiro One locations, were not exposed and do not need to quarantine.
Chiro One Wellness Center provided Public Health with the names and contact information for all affected patients, according to a Public Health press release.
Public Health will contact patients to notify them of their exposure and provide additional information about quarantine. That process could take several days, so patients who were in the Chiro One Wellness Center in Salmon Creek between Sept. 8-11 should quarantine immediately and not wait for a Public Health notification.
Patients who fall in the Sept. 8-11 date range should quarantine for 14 days from their most recent visit to the wellness center. Individuals in quarantine should stay home and avoid contact with anyone who isn’t a household member. They should […]
